Mini Golf FAQs

  • How does a mini golf rental work?

    Once we are clear on what you would like to rent, we send you a contract for you to sign and return.  When you return the signed contract, we will send you an invoice.  You pay a 50% deposit at that time to reserve your rental.  As soon as we receive the 50% deposit, your rental is reserved.  Renters will produce the rest of the payment no later than two weeks prior to delivery.  On your event day, we bring the items you rented, set them all up, and after you and your guests have thoroughly enjoyed them and your rental time has ended, we pick them all up!

  • Are miniature golf rentals for indoor or outdoor events?

    Our miniature golf courses were designed and built to be played either indoors or outdoors.

  • Our miniature golf course rental will be outside and there is a chance of rain. Can we still play?

    Mini golf course rentals may get a little wet, but Time of Your Life Game Rentals reserves the right to cancel and provide a full refund or reschedule due to forecasted inclement weather.

  • What kind of surface is needed for our mini golf course rental?

    It is highly recommended that mini golf courses be placed on flat, finished surfaces such as indoor flooring or on paved, gravel, or otherwise finished outdoor surfaces.  Mini golf courses can be placed on flat, natural lawns and landscapes, but be advised that there are still likely to be bumps that can create uneven play.  In such placements, we will attempt to remedy the situation with leveling supports to the very best of our ability.

  • How do you protect the floors when the course is set up inside or on sensitive outdoor flooring?

    All of our pieces have protective padding underneath.  Our padding is made of the same flooring used by many fitness facilities.  This protects any sensitive flooring from any potential marring or scratching.    

  • Can we rent the course for longer than the standard 4-hour rental?

    Yes!  Our standard rental time is 4 hours, but we also rent for longer events such as weeklong festivals, multiple day events, and one day events that are longer than 4 hours!

  • Is staff included with my rental?

    The need for a staff member depends on multiple factors, but many rentals can be secured without a staff member attending to the course.  We do provide a staff member for an additional fee.  We can help you decide whether or not a staff member is necessary or would be useful for your event.

  • What obstacles come with my rental?

    Every course rental comes with some fun, standard obstacles, while our most popular and delightful obstacles can be included for an additional fee.  Click here for more information about our impressive obstacle selection. 

  • Do you allow overnight rentals?

    Our miniature golf courses can be rented for multiple days as long as security measures are in place for the overnight hours.  

  • Can I rent some formal event games along with a mini golf course?

    Yes!  Check out our Pricing to see special combo deals.  If you are interested in a different combination that is not listed, let us know!

  • What if I need to cancel?

    Cancellations will be refunded (minus processing fees) if made no later than four weeks before the event.  No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within four weeks of the event.

Formal Event Games FAQs

  • What if it rains?

    Rain happens.  If you are having an outdoor event, you have most likely already made preparations for a rainy weather forecast.  We require clients renting games for outdoor events to have an agreed-upon rain plan in place that includes our games.  We recommend making room for them under a tent or setting them up inside.  We are happy to work with you to decide what plan will work best for you and your event.  Please know, however, that our games may not be left exposed to the rain or set up outside if there is a significant chance of precipitation at any point during the day of your event.

  • How does the rental work?

  • Do you allow overnight rentals?

    Unless your event is indoors, our formal event game rentals are for same day delivery and pick up.  Unlike miniature golf, our games may not be left outside overnight.  

  • What comes with my game rental?

    Your game rental comes with everything you need to play the game.  We also include standard, but elegant signage with many games.  If paying for messaging, branding, or personalization, this will be included as indicated on your invoice.  Check out our photos for examples of how we style the games.  Our styling of games for your event is based on your event venue, the styling information you have shared with us, and our current inventory.  If you are interested in something different, let us know and we will work with you to the very best of our abilities to meet your needs.  

  • Is staff included with my rental?
